What will I learn to do?
The course extends and consolidates upon the work of KS3 and will cover further modules on work-related learning including a two-week work placement, Sex & relationship, Careers Education Guidance. There are also modules undertaken on Economic well-being e.g. financial literacy.
What skills do I need?
Students need to be enthusiastic, organised and hard working. PSHE will also look to develop the Key Skills of communication, teamwork, numeracy, ICT, problem solving and individual self-development.
What is next for me after this course?
PSHE is a subject that will support you to fulfil your true potential through a process of making decisions It will help your prepare for 16+ career option choices from an impartial and independent point of knowledge. In the sixth form a PSHE course exits in conjunction with Asdan level 2 & 3 courses.
